Tim Cahill move to MLS

Everton had accepted offer from MLS side, Red Bull Chicago for Tim Cahill. The 32 year old spent 7 years with Everton after completed a switch from Millwall in 2004. The Australian had 278 appearances for Toffes scoring 68 goals for the club.

He’s well known for his ability in air scored almost half of the goals through header. The Ocean’s player of the year is a versatile footballer who can play both forward and midfield position. He’s set a mark as high goal scorer against fierce rivals Liverpool with 20 goals which makes him one of David Moyes best signing of all time.

Everton have yet to receive an approach from Manchester United for Leighton Baines despite the England international, who Moyes does not want to lose, being frequently linked with Old Trafford. A more likely big-name departure from Goodison this summer could be Johnny Heitinga, the Dutch international and the club's current Player of the Year who is a target for several European clubs.
