Finally  new talent for left back position has emerged after retirement Benfica's Joan Capdevilla who has been a first choice for the past 8 years.

Jordi Alba is new Barcelona signing who pens 14 million euro contract for 5 years after rejecting offers from Manchester United,Chelsea and Manchester City.

Former Catalan manager, Pep Guardiola delighted to sign the former Barcelona youth player."He's good player and definitely will be quality assets to team" he explained to Indonesian television channel RCTI."i will enjoy seeing him at Barca next season because he is a good player"/

Alba spend his youth career in Barcelona youth system and further joins Carlonea for 2204-2006 season before proceed for professional football in Valencia Fc.

Valencia loaned the left back to Gimnastic Tarragona where he played 24 games.In 2008, the Spaniard return to Mestala as he ready to break through into first squad competing with Jeremy Matheiu.

In Spain's Euro 2012 squad, Jordi Alba is the only player who never lift major trophy.However due to his outstanding performance in La Liga, he managed to become Del Bosque favourite as he start all games and scoring magnificient goal in final.

Playing Skills

The 23-year old playing like to overlap and penetrate between central defender and side back similar to Daviel Alves's football style.His ability to dribble past defender using high pace always become a threat to the opponent.
