Finally Sigurdsson end the transfer saga as he signed for 4 years deal with Tottenham Hotspur from Hoffenheim.The 22 years old spends a season at Swansea on loan contract. He has been outstanding as being regular start up for the team.

Brendan Rogers, former Swansea manager highly interested in signing the Iceland after being appointed as Liverpool manager. Sigursson is on the radar as he's looking to reinforced The Reds for next season. However the transfer deals fails as  the midfielder change his mind to work under AVB at White Hart Lane.

A statement on the Tottenham official website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have completed the transfer of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim."

Sigurdsson, who scored seven goals in 19 appearances for Swansea, becomes the club's first signing since the appointment of Andre Villas-Boas as head coach on Tuesday.
